Images must be mounted according to PPA standards - not monthly competition standards. That is to say no frames, no canvas', no glass; only 16x20 mount board.
While the mount board must be 16x20; the image may be any size up to 16x20
Images with digital enhancements may fall into a specific catagory or the open catagory depending on the nature and degree of the enhancements. The image maker does not need to be the one to perform the digital work but must be directing the enhancements made.

DIGITAL STUDIO OPERATIONS….
Presented by Robert D. Lloyd CPP, Cr.Photog., Hon.M.Photog., API
This class will take you through the steps of learning the issues and equipment necessary to efficiently operate a digital studio through delivering the product to your client.
The goal is to understand, manage and control color from capture to print. You will learn in a hands-on class, how to calibrate your own monitor, photograph and capture images with the speed and ease of the “old days of film”. Concentrate your attention on your subject and capturing expression and emotion, not playing with your camera.
You will learn and practice lighting for digital capture, studio, location and outdoors. You will learn to use the power of Photoshop Actions, Adobe Bridge and Adobe Lightroom for file management, processing, renumbering and editing. The power of Photoshop, actions, presets and plug-ins handle much of the workload, leaving you time to do other things. After this class – you will be in control of your photography.
